STAFF TRAINING
In preparation for the opening of St Pancras International, Eurostar wanted to hold an event to inform all their employees of how the new station would look and operate.
Our job was to transform the upper level of the St Pancras Gymnasium into a small lecture theatre where 250 staff could be comfortably seated for up to two hours. We achieved this by constructing a multi-tiered seating area.
We had to ensure a blackout arrangement was effective without compromising statutory requirements for emergency exits. Then, working to Brand and Deliver’s specification, we constructed a stage set and surround for the presentations to take place. This included a Musion screen which enabled the presentation to take on a 3-D form. The total number of rotations for this event was seven over a four day period.
